I work as a bespoke furniture maker, using traditional joinery skills and reclaimed materials wherever possible.  Suststainabilty is paramount in my work, as well as beautiful design and practicality.  Small pieces of wood left over from large projects would normally be thrown away, but I like to use everything I can and smaller pieces lend themselves to jewellery, door stops, and tea light sconces which are among the small items I make.  Reclaimed wood often has its own story and I feel this adds integrity and interest to my work.
